Book Fair is a visual portrait of the world literature

More than 7500 publishers from 110 countries and about 300 000 visitors are expected to participate at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair from October 12 to 16, 2011.

"The leitmotif of Frankfurt Book Fair 2011 is "New thinking"". It's been our slogan for a long time since we must reinvent our fair every year," stressed Juergen Boos, Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

"We are going to have a new conference program, which has been developed in collaboration with publishers and book traders from Germany. This year, we have invited representatives of the film production, television and computer industry, pertaining to computer games, to participate in discussions at the event. Book Fair is a visual portrait of the world literature," asserted the Director.

It is noteworthy to mention a new book fair service. All visitors who paid €15 entry fee, which is also a daytime transportation ticket, will get updated information on the event through their iPhone, iPad or iPod and Android based smart phones.

The Gothenburg Book Fair representatives are visiting the grand book event in Frankfurt these days.
