Petra Hůlová, Czech writer is to visit the International Writers' Stage organized at the Museum of World Culture on April 18.

The thirty-three year old writer debuted with her novel "All this belongs to me" when she was 23, and received the prize for the best, and reportedly, the most widely-read Czech book of the decade. In her book, the author portrays the lives of four generations of women in a Mongolian family. Told from a mother's point of view, the story full of secrets and betrayals takes a reader from daily nomadic life on the steppe to severe urban realities in the capital, Ulaanbaatar.
"It sometimes happens with certain books. Suddenly all restrictions are removed. Disappear. And then you sit and stare at the meaning of life in the eye. When you look away, it vanishes. No words can portray it, but the sight is unforgettable," wrote Jan Arnald about the novel in his review in DN.
Elin Grelsson Almestad is a writer who debuted last year with "Du hasar av trygghet" ("You shuffle of security"). She is also a critic and author of columns in such newspapers as Göteborgs-Posten, Aftonbladet and Expressen.

The Goteborg International Writers' Stage is a partnership of the City Library, the Gothenburg Museum of World Culture, Goteborg Book Fair, Göteborg & Co, Västra Götaland Culture in the West and the Writers' Centre West.

Petra Hůlová's is in collaboration with Ramus, publishing company, and the Czech Cultural Centre in Stockholm.
