Sections The Göteborg Book Fair
Göteborg Book Fair offers many different themed sections with exhibitors interested in the same subject or theme. The exhibitors often create inspiring stage programmes together around this theme.
Behold Man
Cultural, media and life issues within the Church of Sweden. The full programme is published in the Behold Man brochure available in print at the Book Fair's entrances. Here you will find more information.
The Childrens' Square
The Childrens's Square in Hall A offers activities and programmes at the Youth Stage of Akademibokhandeln every day. During the trade days these programmes will primarily be of interest to professionals working with children and children's culture. During the public days the programmes are for children and their parents.
The Cloud
With an ambition to inspire and create fresh ideas the Göteborg Book Fair starts a new section called The Cloud, (Molnet in Swedish). The Cloud takes off in the printing industry and turns to all kinds of actors in need of a renewal and for those who wants to find new collaborations in order to grow and develop. Here you will be offered interesting and initiated conversations, lectures, workshops, reading corners, exhibitions and not the least a coffee-shop. The lectures will be open for all visitors at the Göteborg Book Fair. The Cloud is a cooperation between Göteborg Book Fair, Elanders Fälth & Hässler and Designboost among others.
Food and Gardens
Meet the leading food and gardening writers and personalities, including famous chefs, on two lively stages: Chef Stage and Garden Stage, in the Food and Gardens section. Welcome to F Hall, level 2.
Health and Lifestyle
Health and Lifestyle is a section at the Book Fair including a stage. Health and Lifestyle inspires physical and spiritual wellbeing in many different ways. The stage is in Hall F, level 2, and has programmes on Saturday and Sunday.
The International Square
At the International Square, in Hall H, level 2, you will find organizations, publishers and authorities who work in different ways with development issues, human rights issues and education on international topics in Sweden. It is also a collective meeting place for global development issues. There is one stage with programmes in the area.
Library
In Hall E, level 1, the theme is libraries and library systems. The Library Stage located here offers programmes on Thursday and Friday.
The Research Square
The Research Square together with universities, foundations, local authorities, organizations, book publishers and The Göteborg Book Fair, are hosts of this programme which makes research topics accessible to the public at the Book Fair. At the Research Square there is a stage with a comprehensive programme every day, as well as exhibitors.
Room for Poetry
Meet some of the world's most foremost word-painters at the Göteborg Book Fair and Room for Poetry on Friday and Saturday. Authors from all continents read aloud from their own pieces and there are also discussions and debates about famous poets.
Series stage
One of the Book Fair's latest additions to the stage front, is the Series stage. Here the series have their own full-fledged stage where everything from "sign-battles" to panel discussions and interviews with current series writer are offered.
